Le Petit Dakar Lite Edition 2016

Le Petit Dakar Lite Edition 2016 is already on.We have marked dates and stages. This edition will coincide with the Easter of next year, between 19 and 26 March . Why Lite Edition? Simply because it will not develop in the Sahara. Otherwise keeps the spirit of his brother Le Petit Dakar with six stages of pure and off road following the Moroccan stages of the African Dakar Rally and the old Rally du Atlas. The challenge is raised. You dare?

The next Easter Le Petit Dakar offers you a chance to travel in our own way, always remembering the spirit of the ancient African Dakar rallys, but in a more affordable way, closer and less days, from Saturday to Saturday although including an extra day of what we like, with six stages of off road instead of five Le Petit Dakar classic in the Sahara.

Le Petit Dakar is a journey that wants to recover the spirit of the first part Dakars following in the tracks used in the 90s in southern Morocco. Six stages of pure and off road through the deserts of  Eastern Morocco and mountain pistes of the Atlas mountains.

  

This is not a race, there is no prize although a trophy for all they have done, the self-satisfaction of having succeeded. Enjoy your bike the desert landscapes of Morocco embraced by a reputable organization and have your own adventure with us.

This time the meeting point is the port of Motril in Granada where we take a ferry to Melilla. This meeting place has the advantage of having a parking area free long stay and monitored by the Civil Guard can leave cars and trailers.

Another novelty is that this time Le Petit Dakar will be divided into two groups, one with the most experienced pilots and other with less experienced pilots or heavier  trail bikes.

The planned route will we detail below and be everything. The hard courts of Rekkam, large spaces in SE Morocco, the dunes of Erg Chebbi, the gorges of the Atlas and steps ... with a strong and spicy stages. As usual in Le Petit Dakar will include two camps serving the final stage with a roof of millions of stars and all the amenities: individual tents and mattresses, showers, kitchen, dining tent ...

* Price per person in 4x4 does not include camp material for the two camps nor picnic bags or dinners and breakfast in he two camps. You can ask for it: complete board for the two days fof camp 40€ and 4 picnic bags for the stages we don´t find restaurants 20€
